HSE have issued a safety alert to all users of excavators fitted with quick hitch devices. Their statistics show that there have been numerous serious accidents within the Plant Hire & Construction industries, including 4 fatalities since December 2006. This alert outlines the precautions that should be taken when relying on these devices and HSE inspectors are urging employers to ensure that their staff are efficiently trained before operating the machinery.

Here at FGS Plant we value the safety of our employees and can proudly say that all of our plant operators are trained in Health & Safety and on the plant they use to CPCS Standards.
